This Is War

As we gathered last night to worship, and celebrate the advent of our Lord – I was introduced to a new song by Dustin Kensrue called “This Is War”.  I immediately looked him up this morning and found this music video.  It’s a brilliant Advent song! I hope you enjoy it. (Make sure you turn the HD on too, makes it twice a nice)

Advent Conspiracy

While I was in Portland, OR, I interned at a church that started a movement to conspire against a consumer driven Christmas in hopes of reclaiming the true meaning of Christmas.  Our goal: spending less, giving more, worshiping more fully, and love everyone.  For those that haven’t heard about Advent Conspiracy yet, check out this video that gives you a quick, compelling look at how we are pursuing a meaningful venture into Christmas as a community:
